How to Request an Appointment
Please go to our website homepage and click on ‘Contact us online‘ then click ‘I have a health problem‘ to complete a short form describing your issue. This option is available until 6:30pm and all requests about health problems are read on the same day. After 6:30pm please contact 111 or go to A&E if your request is urgent.
All requests about health problems are reviewed by a GP and we will respond with the most appropriate next step. Urgent issues are given priority for on the day appointments. For non-urgent issues we may send you a booking link, allowing you to choose a future appointment time that works best for you.
***If our online bookings have reached capacity for the day and are no longer available please call our Reception Team who will be able to advise you***
✅ Stay updated:
Please make sure you have the NHS App downloaded and that notifications are turned on, so you don’t miss any important messages from the practice.
Please make sure we have your correct telephone number.
☎️ No internet access?
If you’re unable to use the online form, please call the practice and our Reception Team will help you complete it. As we will be filling the same form online for patients that call the practice, the telephone calls will take longer. Calling in to get the forms filled in will NOT prioritise your form. Priority is on clinical need only.
🕘 Online consultations are available during normal working hours (Monday to Friday, 08:00–18:30).
For urgent medical issues outside of these hours, please visit 111.nhs.uk or call NHS 111.
Thank you for supporting this appointment booking system as we work to improve access and care for all our patients
Nurse Appointments
All appointments can be booked in advance; we suggest you book 1-2 weeks before you require the appointment.
Phlebotomist Appointments
We have an in house phlebotomist, who mainly serves our elderly or infirm patients.
In cases where we are unable to provide this service due to long waiting times, alternative services are conducted at Gracefield Gardens Health and Social Care Centre, 2-8 Gracefield Gardens, London SW16 2ST.
All blood tests must have been authorised by a doctor or nurse, who will provide you with a blood test form.
Enhanced Access Appointments
We offer appointments at our surgery after 18.30 on Monday – Thursdays. We can also offer appointments in various hub clinics across Lambeth, provided by our GP Federation, Lambeth Practices.
As part of the PCN DES service, we are required to provide Enhanced Access to patients registered with practices in the PCN.
Enhanced Access is patient appointments outside core practice hours – that is between 18:30-20:00 on weekdays, and on Saturdays 09:00 till 17:00.
Interpreters
If you require an interpreting service for your consultations with the doctor or nurse, we will gladly arrange this for you.
Please tell us when you book an appointment.
Late Policy
The practice has agreed that if you are more than 10 minutes late we cannot see you and you will have to rebook.
This policy is intended to help doctors and nurses keep to time and reduce waiting times for all patients.
Cancelling an Appointment
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible; this way the doctor can see another patient in need.
To cancel, you can:
- Cancel via NHS App
- If you receive a text reminder, please send back a text CANCEL
- Telephone the surgery on 020 3474 6999
Failing To Attend An Appointment
Please be aware that the average cost of an appointment not being attended (DNA) is £120 and that millions of pounds a year are wasted by patients failing to attend appointments.
